Clémence is an award-nominated journalist with a decade of experience in newsrooms.

Most recently, she was a staff writer at The Independent, where she covered entertainment, true crime, and books. She was shortlisted for a British Journalism Award (Scoop of the Year) and for a National Press Award (Scoop: Popular Life).

As a freelance journalist, Clémence has continued covering various areas of culture. She is a popular moderator and conversation partners at book festivals and launches. In 2024, she interviewed the Emmy-winning actor Michael Imperioli onstage at the Perelman Performing Arts Center in Manhattan.
